The Hidden Heart of Fuji.

The home of an oshi, who lodged pilgrims climbing Mt. Fuji and offered them prayers and guidance. A component of the Mt. Fuji World Cultural Heritage site, it conveys the life and faith of that era to this day.
The heart of Mt. Fuji worship, this shrine has welcomed countless pilgrims since ancient times. Feel the solemn atmosphere of its approach lined with giant cedar trees and its vermilion-lacquered halls.
The historic trail walked by Fuji-ko pilgrims on their way to the summit. Follow part of the path leading from the Sengen Shrine and imagine the pilgrimages of the past.
Fujiyoshida's soul food, known for its firm, chewy noodles. Enjoy a simple bowl topped with cabbage and horse meat at a popular local restaurant.
Fujiyoshida has been a textile town for over 1,000 years. Visit a weaving workshop, see the craftsmanship up close and try your hand at making something yourself.
